Smiles

Sorry it has been so long since our last blog. We are still trying to get used to being parents as well as "bloggers". Mom, Dad and Jonathan are all doing well. We had a wonderful Christmas in Northern Virginia with both sides of the family. Jonathan slept through most of the present openings but that didn't stop us from wearing out the camera! Some of his favorite presents have to be his little Air Jordans from Uncle Gavin as well as his "How to Talk to Girls" book from Uncle Richie and Aunt Liz.

Most exciting at our house is the fact that our little man is now smiling, and it’s not just from bowel movements or gas! It's totally a form of God's renewal to get us through the long late night feedings. It’s been pretty amazing to see him smile at us. Just this last weekend, Aunt Cindy was visiting and they were playing peek-a-boo with ton of smiles!

Also, this past week we had Grandpa Rich and Grandma Sue visit! Grandpa Rich was teaching a class at UVA's Law school and Grandma Sue was helping mom with house hold stuff and the little man. We also took him to a restaurant for the first time in which he slept the whole time! Jonathan has been covered with a ton of love this week!

We are loving the new life God has given us with Jonathan. It can be tiring at times, but its truly amazing to keep falling in love with him!
