Jonathan's First Vacation

For Peter's recent vacation we were able to slip away to the Hamblen Bay House to introduce Jonathan to the Chesapeake Bay, boats and crabs. We had wonderful weather and the house was perfect as always. The only negative was that Mom was being over protective and wouldn't let Jonathan go tubing.

Gibbs thinking about what life would be like as a wild animal

Enjoying the boat with Grandma. Yes, that is a bunny hat.

Deep thoughts with Great Grandma Bea.
After the Bay House we were able to spend Easter with the Dean family. It was a wonderful celebration of Christ's ressurection and the dinner was great with the whole Dean family, Jennine Christie, the Mears and the Leachmans. No surprise the only pictures we have from the whole dinner are of Jonathan.

My Big Boy Chair!

Sorry for the delay in blog updates. We have been doing well but pretty busy! Jonathan is doing well. We were having a little trouble eating due to some pretty bad acid reflux (dad doesn't like to call it that because it doesn't sound very "tough") but thankfully things have improved with the medicine. Jonathan is laughing, smiling, cooing, and recently blowing raspberries a lot! He is a pretty happy boy especially after baths and when he is in his big boy high chair! He loves to watch me cook while sitting in the highchair. He also loves to lounge on the back porch with dad with his shades! Quite the chick magnet! We still are blown away by how much he changes and by how much our love grows for him! He is such a blessing to us!
